A main on/off valve is one of the most important components in any fluid system. Its entire purpose is to start or stop the flow of liquid through a line.
when it’s ON, liquid can reach the boom or nozzles; when it’s OFF, everything downstream is shut off.
This allows the operator to quickly stop spraying at headlands, turns, or when pausing work and it can help preventing accidental discharge when the sprayer is being filled, transported, or serviced.
